What makes studying at the University of Klagenfurt unique?

 

The study of Applied Business Administration at the Alpen-Adria-Universität is characterised by an excellent ratio between teachers and students. Students can complete their degree rapidly and flexibly.

Courses with a sound theoretical basis and at the same time a focus on practical application guarantee quality and are an excellent preparation for the world of work.

Current business events are integrated in the curriculum, as is an extensive acquisition of management knowledge.

What are my career opportunities after the degree programme?

 

Applied Business Administration educates students to become competent individuals with managerial qualities. Graduates will learn to think entrepreneurially and acquire extensive business management know-how. This makes them ideally qualified for projects or management functions. The ability to recognize networks and modes of operation within enterprises is a skill that is in high demand in the world of work. The professional opportunities of our graduates are accordingly varied and the demand for them is correspondingly high.

Our graduates are qualified for managerial functions in the senior and middle management of private enterprises, organisations and NPOs for public enterprises and administrative bodies.

 

Typical fields of work are:

 

Management functions and project management in all fields of Austrian and foreign production, trading, service or capital goods businesses, in public administration or non-profit organisations or non-university research institutions.

Freelance professions such as tax consultants and business trustees, business consultants, investment consultants, real estate trustees or as representatives of foreign companies, Teaching or research in public or private institutions
