About the Center
The Center for Women's and Gender Studies (ZFG) developed from the Coordination Office for Women's and Gender Studiesand Research (2001-2006) at th Alpen-Adria-University Klagenfurt.
The center covers the following tasks:
- Furthering and coordination of gender-democratic teaching; conception and implementation of Women's and Gender Studies
- Furthering and coordination of gender-democratic research; conception and implementation of Women's and Gender Research
- Student support through offering gender-democratic education
- National and interational cooperation and networking with Women's and Gender Studies institutions
