Applied Mechatronics
The Applied Mechatronics Group is part of the Institute of Smart Systems Technologies. We are engaged in teaching within the bachelor and master programs Information Technology at Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt.
Our research involves theory, modeling, simulation and experimental investigation of complex systems in engineering, material and medical science. Therewith, we focus on the following four topics:
- Design of Mechatronic Sensors and Actuators
- Modeling and Simulation
- Smart Material Characterization
- Sound Design and Noise Reduction
