NOeG (Nationalökonomische Gesellschaft Österreichs) is the Austrian Economic Association.
The Annual Meeting 2015 will take place in Klagenfurt, Austria, from Friday, June 5th to Saturday, June 6th.
Keynote Lectures and Panel Discussion
Keynote Lectures will be held by Ansgar Belke (University of Duisburg-Essen), Seppo Honkapohja (Bank of Finland) and Mike Wickens (University of York) and there will be a Panel Discussion including Ewald Nowotny (Austrian National Bank), Peter Gauper (Raiffeisen Landesbank Kärnten), Willi Semmler (New School for Social Research, New York), Ansgar Belke (University of Duisburg-Essen) and Thomas Gehrig (University of Vienna).
Parallel Sessions will be held in 3-4 slots. Participants are allotted 30 minutes per paper. As 10 minutes should be reserved for discussion, the presentation should not exceed 20 minutes. Please inform us of any technical support needed.
If your paper has been accepted for the Poster Session, here are some hints on how to present your work. The idea in a nutshell is to present your "paper at a glance".
The overall format should not exceed A0 (you can use A4 sheets to make this up), minimum font size is 20 pts, text to be printed, not handwritten. Do not forget title and name. You can include an abstract, figures, equations, etc. whatever you consider necessary to give a succinct overview of your work. Do not simply pin the entire paper to the board!
To give you an idea on what this could look like, here is a good example for a poster session presentation.
Finally, we would like to mention that experience has shown that there is a fair amount of withdrawals and no shows in the Parallel Sessions. And their places will be filled with poster session participants!
A book of abstracts will be made available online.
Authors wanting to have their paper considered for publication in a special conference issue of a refereed journal (Empirica - Journal of European Economics) should send their final version as a pdf file to email@example.com by August 15th, 2015. All papers will be refereed and should be delivered in the layout specified by the publishers.
A preliminary Program will be available with all sessions and papers accepted for presentation. Check also the authors and participants.
